On the accounting side, we offer bookkeeping, payroll, outsourced controller services, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, cloud accounting, loan package preparation, and financial statement preparation. We also offer software selection, setup, customization, training, troubleshooting, and consulting for QuickBooks®.

Building on this foundation, we also provide consulting services that focus on the design and structuring of investment products, market entry strategy, and support for financial institutions entering new distribution channels. Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join our growing remote team at Aconel Services Inc. This position is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, identifying patterns, and generating insights that support strategic and operational business decisions.

As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with our consulting, finance, and leadership teams to analyze business and client data, identify trends, and create reports and dashboards that help drive measurable outcomes. You will also interact with clients to ensure that data and reporting processes remain accurate, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to transform raw data into meaningful insights, support decision‑making processes, and maintain the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of all information handled within company systems. During your probationary period, you will work under the direct guidance of your manager and other senior team members, gaining practical experience across different financial data systems and reporting tools.

This position is 100% remote and offers the opportunity to grow within a professional, collaborative, and forward‑thinking financial consulting environment.


Essential Duties:

  • Collect, organize, and prepare data from various internal and external sources for accurate analysis and reporting.
  • Clean, validate, and structure datasets to ensure reliability and usability.
  • Maintain, update, and improve dashboards, reports, and spreadsheets using Excel, Google Sheets, or other analytics tools.
  • Analyze and interpret financial and operational data from digital systems to identify insights, detect inconsistencies, and support data‑driven decisions.
  • Support consulting and finance teams by preparing regular performance reports, metrics, and visual summaries for business and client operations.
  • Ensure that all collected and processed data complies with company, financial, and security standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to provide updates, respond to inquiries, and offer ongoing support.
  • Assist clients in completing financial processes and operations using digital platforms, ensuring data accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Review and reconcile client reports or transaction records, verifying that all information aligns with internal databases.
  • Update and maintain client information, transaction history, and relevant documentation in the company’s internal systems.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and management, providing status updates, progress reports, and suggestions for process improvement.

On a typical day, you'll:

  • Collect and organize business and client data to keep records accurate and up to date.
  • Update and improve dashboards, spreadsheets, and internal reports used by consulting and finance teams.
  • Analyze transactional and operational data to identify inconsistencies or trends that require attention.
  • Prepare and deliver regular performance summaries and visual reports for internal review.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and assist them with using digital finance platforms.
  • Review and reconcile client transaction records, ensuring all information in company systems is correct and compliant.
  • Collaborate with your manager and teammates to report progress, share findings, and support daily data and client-related operations.

Requirements:

  • Basic experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Ability to work with data using Excel or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn.
  • Experience with reports or dashboards is an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Good communication skills.

Compensation and bonuses:

We believe that hard work should pay off, so we make sure that our compensation and total rewards are competitive. Standard starting compensation is commensurate with experience. Regular reviews and raises are awarded based on tenure and performance, so our employees make more each year. Employees earn paid time off as well as paid holidays and paid training opportunities. Regular daily, weekly and monthly incentives are part of the overall compensation our team members enjoy.

The compensation package is as follows:

The total compensation plan for full-time employees consists of a monthly base salary, along with monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses, totaling approximately $76,500 or more per year, depending on company performance and individual performance.


Schedule: Need a schedule that works with your life?

For full-time work from Monday to Friday: Must be available to work from 9am - 5pm, 40 hours a week.

You will work from a home office and must be available and responsive during business hours.


Work from home requirements:

  • A dedicated, private home office space.
  • Reliable internet connection.

We will provide our remote employees with equipment essential to their duties, such as laptops, headsets and mobile phones (if applicable). The company retains control of the property and reserves the right to monitor company property, even when it is being used at your remote site. Employees must keep it safe and avoid misuse. Company provided equipment is to be used for business purposes only. The remote worker will sign an inventory of all company property received and agree to take appropriate steps to protect the items from damage or theft. In the event of termination of employment, all company property will be returned to the company unless other arrangements have been made.
